October 06 - Keri just finished up
her sabattical and we have loved every minute of it! Among
just
some of the things we did this summer: a great hike up to
Washington's Summit Lake, the annual block party, a visit from the
Hercey grandparents, day trips to the beach, coast range (River's
bday), and Silver Falls. Keri and Amalia also did long
weekend
trips to Bend and Seattle/Friday Harbor to visit friends and family.
July 06 - A Father's Day at the putt-putt course, Amalia swim lessons, a farewell to Mike and Laura as they head to Philly, a racoon visitor, and a 4 1/2 year birthday celebration for Amalia highlighted a wonderful early summer in Portland...

June 06 - Easter, spring planting, and
separate vacations highlighted the last couple of months. It
was
a big block party Easter egg hunt in April, the same month Amalia and
Keri did some serious planting in the front yard. Ann visited
in
May for Mother's Day and then in June Amalia stayed with grandparents
Carkeek while Robyn and Keri went to Boulder, Denver, and Colorado
Springs for a long weekend.

April 06 - Here are some shots of the main room in the basement remodel project we've been doing. We hit the milestone the weekend of April 7 of getting our 2nd car back in our garage. The poor Civic had been displaced since November due to all of the junk we had in there, so everybody is happy we're getting closer back to normal all the time.
